Dhanya is a home shaped by the idea of return. Designed for a couple settling back into their city after years of service, the residence is envisioned as a place of familiarity, where architecture nurtures comfort through simplicity rather than excess.

Layered in warm neutrals, natural timber, textured fabrics, and soft stone, the interiors unfold as a quiet retreat that feels timeless and deeply personal. Generous openings invite natural light to animate the material palette, lending each space a gentle, lived-in warmth that evolves throughout the day.

Guided by thoughtful restraint, the design favours carefully crafted details over ornament. Built-in elements, recessed niches, and subtle lighting introduce depth without visual clutter, creating interiors that feel calm, purposeful, and effortlessly functional. Contemporary planning is balanced with understated cultural references, most notably in the seamlessly integrated pooja niche, where tradition becomes part of the home's architectural language.
